Okay, this is what I want everyone to do - Go on iTunes, or youtube, etc. RIGHT NOW, and look up this song, and listen to it in it's entirety.

This song will seriously change the world. I really hope Carrie will put it out as a single, because I want everyone to hear it. It is such a beautiful song, with the most amazing message. What the song talks about is how people react to situations when they can make a difference, big or small, but how we talk ourselves out of it by saying, "oh, that won't mean anything to them" or "I dont have a ton of money to help that poor person, a few cents or dollars that i can give them wont help them."or "I cant change anything because the world is so big and I dont know where to start."
But honestly even the smallest things can change the world. "The smallest thing can make all the difference." nobody knows where to start! I bet Abe Lincoln, who is in my opinion the bravest man i’ve ever heard of, didn’t know where to start either when it came to freeing the slaves. He grew up poor, in Kentucky, which was a pro-slavery state. He just knew that America could not survive being so divided. So he bravely worked his way to change the world.
Like Carrie says in her song, the smallest things can make all the difference. The way to start is just “saying a prayer up into the dark.” Pray for people. Pray for yourself. And while your praying you can ask God for opportunities to change the world. Even just giving a homeless woman cold on a street corner some change and asking her her story, can change her life in a big way, just by letting her know someone cares. Just do things one thing at a time and it grows. This song has really inspired me. This year I want to help people, even if it is just in small ways.
